| > Back To Testimonials | | Victoria Morse, Equine Options, Manitoba, Canada - New Hope For Lily | When we brought Lily home from the sale we thought we would be putting her to sleep. The condition she was in led us to believe she was a 30 plus year old horse. When the vet examined her he discovered that Lily still had baby teeth and estimated her age at approx 3 years.
I immediately contactedFeed-Rite to ask for assistance in saving Lily's life. The response was immediate and very informative. Lily was started on small amounts of Front Runner Phase TWO Mare and Yearling and beet pulp. In the beginning Lily could hardly eat the small amounts of feed we gave her. Over time we worked Lily up to the recommended amount of Front Runner Mare and Yearling and beet pulp per day. We started this process in April 2005 and by the first week of August 2005 we had the vet's approval to start training Lily!
I had thought I was optimistic to hope that we might start her in spring of 2006! Thanks to Feed-Rite staff and products, the horses that we bring into our Horse Sanctuary are all thriving and looking forward to futures with the quality of life they deserve. I believe that Feed Rite cares about what happens to the horses in our lives and will continue to use their products as long as I am in this business.
